Dr Jennifer Harvey - Radiation Oncologist

Dr Jennifer Harvey obtained her medical degree through the University of Queensland. She received her fellowship from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR). Dr Harvey is a Senior Staff Specialist at Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Special interests include breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancer

Dr Harvey has a major interest in the management of breast and gastrointestinal cancer. She participates in the multi-disciplinary breast meeting at Greenslopes Hospital. Dr Harvey’s other predominant interest is in quality of life issues.

Cancer Research and Teaching

Dr Harvey is involved in clinical research and is on the trial management committee of a number of international and national clinical research trials. The National Health & Medical Research Council (NHMRC) funds some of these trials. Patients are given the opportunity to participate in available clinical trials. Dr Harvey has been widely published in peer review journals.

Dr Harvey is a Senior Lecturer with the University of Queensland and contributes to teaching medical students and registrars in training.

Professional Memberships

Dr Harvey has served on the management committee of the Queensland Cooperative Oncology Group (QCOG) and is committed to improving patient outcomes.
